Beauty School Admission: Application Process

The beauty school admission application process at Passion Beauty Academy is built around you. Before you enrol, we take the time to understand your life goals, career interests, and what you are looking to achieve in the beauty and wellness industry.

This begins with a personal interview and campus tour, giving you the opportunity to see our facilities firsthand, meet faculty, and connect with current students.

From there, you will complete an entrance evaluation designed to assess your readiness and ensure you meet all the necessary admission requirements for the beauty program you are applying to.

Once that is done, our dedicated Financial Aid Officer will work with you on the required tuition and financial aid, building a plan that fits your situation and walking you through every available option so cost does not stand in the way of your training.

Admissions Requirements

  •  Gr.12 OSSD/High School Graduate or Mature Student Status (18 Ontario, 19 out of province)
  • Successful completion of entrance evaluation
  • Admissions interview

Admissions Process

Step 1: Have a Tour and Personal Interview

Complete a career interview and campus tour with admissions. We encourage you to invite your significant other, parents, or others who will be supporting you during your time in college.

Step 2: Pre-Registration Form

Passion Beauty Academy strives for quality and excellence. This step is an integral part of the admissions process and one of the core admissions requirements designed to evaluate potential student abilities. Complete the entrance evaluation administered on campus. Your admissions advisor will provide you with an overview and instructions for completing this.

Step 3: Financial Aid

Meet with your assigned Passion Beauty Academy Financial Aid Officer (FAO) and finalize a financial plan. The FAO will present you with all the possible tuition and financial aid options you may be eligible for, including Second Career, Medicard, scholarships, flexible payment options, and more. Step 4: Final Registration

Complete your enrollment paperwork. Your admissions advisor will assist you with any difficulties you may encounter during this final process. Once submitted, your enrolment will be processed and you will receive your introduction package to get you started with your studies.

B. International Students:

For international beauty school admissions, please review the international student admission requirements listed below before submitting your application.

Admissions Requirements

  • Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED)
  • A complete International Student course application form
  • A copy of a photo ID
  • Official academic documents
  • Brief resume/CV
  • Basic Proficiency in English for non-English Programs
  • $500 CAD non-refundable International Student Application fee

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Domestic applicants need a Grade 12 OSSD or High School Diploma, or qualify as a Mature Student (18 years or older in Ontario, 19 out of province). You will also need to complete an entrance evaluation and attend an admissions interview on campus.
Mature Student Status is an alternative entry pathway for applicants who do not hold a Grade 12 diploma. In Ontario, you must be at least 18 years of age to qualify. Out of province applicants must be at least 19. Your admissions advisor can confirm eligibility during your campus interview.
The timeline varies depending on how quickly each step is completed. Your admissions advisor will guide you through the process and can give you a clearer picture of expected timelines during your campus interview.
